2023 Intern Application

INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support planning and execution of sponsored activations

  • Assist with gameday entertainment operations including giveaways and crowd control

  • Interact with fans in the ballpark and at tabling events

  • Assist with content creation as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

MARKETING & PROMOTIONS

  • Assist in the documentation and upkeep of contracts, documents, and transactions

  • Provide support in the execution of cotracts

  • Brainstorm solutions and problem solve to ensure client satisfaction

  • Aid in solving remedial tasks from clients

  • Participate in creation of client proposals

  • Assist with events as needed

SALES & CLIENT SERVICES

  • Assist in covering the box office and phones to help ensure ticket sales are not lost

  • Provide excellent customer service while assisting guests with ticket sales, ticket scanning and/or working the Will Call window on event/game days

  • Answer customer questions about ticket prices, packages, seating, etc.

  • Assist with events as needed

BOX OFFICE/TICKETING

CONTROL ROOM/TECHNICAL PRODUCTION

  • Operate stationary and wireless/roaming cameras

  • Operation of music and sound effects board

  • Control scoreboard

  • Manage upkeep of line score (scorekeeping)

  • Assist in technical direction (camera & source switching)

BASEBALL OPERATIONS

  • Support the development of scouting including scouting reports

  • Provide assistance with live stats

  • Contribute to composition of end game box scores

OPERATIONS

  • Support event/game and facility management

  • Assist in setup and breakdown for events such as concerts, graduations, meetings, proms, weddings, etc.
