ALPB to Start Championship Season on Friday, May 28, 2021

(February 2, 2021, Lancaster, Pa.) – The Atlantic League announced today that it will open its 23rd official Championship Season on May 28, 2021.

Atlantic League, Prospect Dugout Announce Spring Pro Baseball Tryout Camp


ATLANTIC LEAGUE, PROSPECT DUGOUT ANNOUNCE
SPRING PRO BASEBALL TRYOUT CAMP
Professional Showcase Camp Slated for March 19-21 in Viera, Florida

(December 23, 2020, Lancaster, Pa.) – The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB) and Prospect Dugout announced today plans for their spring Professional Baseball Tryout Camp.

Held at the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Viera, Florida, from Friday, March 19 through Sunday, March 21, 2021, the camp will mark the third tryout conducted by the two organizations, whose 2019 and 2020 events sold out quickly. Nearly 60 contracts were awarded during those previous events.

Gastonia Professional Baseball Announces Team Name Finalists


Gastonia, NC – October 8 Gastonia Professional Baseball announced today it has selected its final five considerations for the team
name. Through online submissions collected from August 14-31, members of the community submitted over 700 team names they
felt best reflected the City’s unique assets, history and personality. Following a comprehensive discovery process in reviewing the
submissions, club leadership narrowed the list to its final five: Gastonia Fire Ants, Gastonia Hogzillas, Gastonia Honey Hunters,
Gastonia Hotshots, and Gastonia Uppercuts.
